Got the following job requirement in a mailing list. Opening for a Usability Professional. Wont be naming the company in the hope that if in the distant future I happen to be sitting on the other end of the interview table…….. anyway....

It says thus:

1. Candidate should have 2 to 7 yrs relevant experience.
2. Should be good in web interaction designing and execution.
3. Expert in Adobe, Macromedia and other tools and languages required to develop Interfaces.
4. Should possess good knowledge about Usability, Information Architecture and Online Branding.
5. Excellent communication skills.

Hmm…. Adobe, Macromedia and other languages to “DEVELOP” the interface. Hmmm….

Also should know about usability, IA and online branding? How about the much coveted ability of being able to suck a golf ball through a garden hose?

The inmates are running the asylum.
